QuarterArcade

QuarterArcade is a family entertainment center in Rockford with more than 100 games to play, ranging from classic arcade cabinets like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Centipede, Galaga, Frogger and Joust to modern video games and over 60 redemption machines that dispense tickets for prizes. Many of the classic games are free to play, while others cost just a nickel or a quarter per turn, so families can get a lot of playtime for a small amount of money. There is a modest admission fee to access the game floor, and the venue sets aside a separate area where parents who aren't playing can wait comfortably. The place has a nostalgic, old-school arcade feel, with original dedicated machines that have been around for decades.
