About this place
ProTrack is a real speed go-kart track at Grand Prix Amusements on Route 50 in Ocean City, running karts up to 30 mph on more than a third of a mile of track. It is built for teen and adult racers rather than young children: drivers must be at least 16 years old, at least 58 inches tall, and present valid ID, with anyone under 18 needing a parent or guardian to sign the waiver. Full-face helmets are provided, and every race is timed live through the RaceFacer system with trackside scoreboards so racers can track their lap times. It runs arrive-and-drive with no reservation needed, each race lasting 8 minutes for about 10 to 14 laps, priced at $30 for one race, $55 for two, or $75 for three per person. The track operates daily from April through Columbus Day weather permitting, and groups of 12 or more can book ahead for a discount.
