About this place
Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary is a small, family-friendly zoo on ten acres overlooking Willow Lake in Prescott, rescuing and caring for wildlife since 1988. Kids can wander paths through naturally landscaped animal enclosures, visit the unique Tarantula Grotto, and cool off at the splashpad or play on the children's playground. Families can bring a picnic to enjoy at the pavilion or tables scattered around the park, making it easy to turn a visit into a full day out. There is also a children's zoo area and a gift shop, plus a seasonal Zoo Camp for kids ages 6 to 12 who want hands-on animal experiences, crafts, and games.
