About this placePeter Pan Mini-Golf is a family-owned miniature golf course that has stood at the corner of Barton Springs Road and Lamar in Austin since 1948, making it one of the city's oldest surviving businesses. Kids putt around a course dotted with handmade backyard-built figures created decades ago by Glenn Dismukes, including a giant shoe inspired by the nursery rhyme, a pig, a dog, and the course's well-known T-Rex. The layout and feel have stayed largely the same over the generations, giving families a low-key, old-school golf outing rather than a flashy modern course. It works well for multi-generational visits, since grandparents who played here as kids can bring their own grandchildren to the same holes.
