About this place
Paint Playground is a hands-on art studio near Cincinnati where kids and families make a mess on purpose, splattering, dripping, scraping, or even squirt-gunning washable paint onto canvases, windows, walls, and furniture. The signature experience is open to ages 2 and up, and there is a glow-in-the-dark blacklight version for the same age range, though the dark room may not suit every toddler. A dedicated space for children ages 1 to 6 offers sensory play with paint, toys, and tools, with walk-ins welcome or a call-ahead check-in time. Older kids can try piping-bag paint art with unlimited toppings (ages 7 and up) or paint on a canvas, double canvas, or vinyl record as a take-home souvenir. Paint Playground also hosts birthday parties and group events seven days a week and sells backyard paint party kits for at-home play.
