The Oklahoma State University Art Museum opened its doors in January 2014 offering year-long programs for a broad community. The Museum builds on its inherited collections, which are historical, contemporary, and culturally diverse with primary holdings in works on paper and in modern and contemporary periods of American art. Museum programming includes temporary loan exhibitions, collection-based exhibitions, and educational presentations that serve community and K-12 audiences as well as University faculty, staff, and students. As a complement to the University’s academic mission, the OSU Museum of Art’s collections provide a rich, diverse resource of artworks that fosters the museum experience as a laboratory of learning through discussions, exhibitions, teaching, and research across disciplines for the ongoing education of University students, faculty and staff as well as citizens of the state of Oklahoma.
A membership to Oklahoma State University Museum of Art carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
