Located in the heart of downtown, the Grand Rapids Art Museum presents exhibitions of national caliber and regional distinction. The museum collection spans Renaissance to Modern art, with particular strength in 19th and 20th century paintings, prints, and drawings. The collection includes 6,000 works of art; approximately 3,000 works on paper (prints, drawings, photographs, and watercolors), 2,000 design and decorative arts works (furniture, ceramics, glass, metal and textiles), and 1,000 paintings and sculptures. The collection consists primarily of European Art 1300 to present and American Art from the Colonial era to the present. Photo: Steve Hall © Hedrich Blessing
A membership to Grand Rapids Art Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
