About this place
Niabi Zoo is a forest-preserve zoo spread across more than 40 acres, home to over 600 animals representing more than 115 species from around the world. Kids and families can walk trails through wooded habitats, grab a bite at the concession stand, and pick up a souvenir at the Wild Things Gift Shop. Strollers, wheelchairs, and electric scooters are available to rent, and parking is offered for a small fee in the north lot. The zoo is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., from April 21 to October 25, and also hosts field trips, birthday parties, and other group events.
