About this place
A museum holding over 2,600 works of art spanning from the 18th century to the present day. The collection focuses on American and contemporary art across many forms: paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, watercolors, photographs, decorative arts, textiles, and installation pieces. Families visiting will find rotating displays of the permanent collection spread through several galleries. The museum also runs classes and public programs. Founded in 1912, it remains one of the oldest continuously operating art museums in the country.
