Neon Retro Arcade is a game room in Old Town Pasadena packed with more than 40 classic video games and pinball machines from the 1980s and 90s, plus a handful of newer consoles. Kids and parents can wander between cabinets and pinball tables for a nostalgic gaming session, with easy access from the 134, 210 and 110 freeways. Groups of 10 to 25 can reserve two hours of discounted game time, though the arcade stays open to the public during that time and there is no food, cake or seating provided on site. Since the arcade sits within walking distance of over 100 restaurants, many groups play first and then head out nearby for a meal or birthday celebration. Reservations for specific time slots can be booked in advance, and admission passes are available to purchase ahead of a visit.
