Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County, located at 900 Exposition Blvd in Los Angeles, California, is a museum system encompassing the Natural History Museum in Exposition Park, La Brea Tar Pits and Museum, and the William S. Hart Museum. Families can explore a combined collection of more than 35 million specimens and artifacts spanning natural and cultural history, with indoor and outdoor exhibits across the three sites. La Brea Tar Pits also features the only active urban paleontological excavation site in the world, offering visitors a look at ongoing fossil discovery.
A membership to Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
