Monroe Science Center

Monroe Science Center is a hands-on learning space in downtown Monroe where kids and adults explore science exhibits at their own pace, with staff on hand to answer questions. Admission covers a wristband for all-day access, plus any programming happening that day, such as story time sessions and STEAM Station activities held on select weekdays. Food and drinks are not allowed inside, though the wristband lets visitors step out and return. Children under 14 must stay with their group at all times, and larger groups need one adult per ten kids. Tickets stop selling an hour before closing, so it works best as a morning or early afternoon outing.
