A cultural center in downtown Stroudsburg built around the Stroud Mansion, a house from 1795 constructed by the town's founder. Families can tour the historic mansion and visit exhibits about Monroe County's past. A newer addition built in 2026 contains community spaces and provides full wheelchair access to the building through an elevator. The association hosts themed exhibitions and challenges that connect local history to visitors' own family stories.
A membership to Monroe County Historical Association carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
