About this place
Milwaukee County Zoo is a large animal park spanning 190 acres, home to more than 2,400 animals across over 340 species. Kids can explore exhibits featuring everything from big cats to smaller mammals and birds, continuing a tradition that started with a small display in Washington Park back in 1892. Families can buy admission online ahead of time for a lower rate and quicker entry through the U.S. Bank Gathering Place, skipping the ticket line. Parking now uses a license plate based system, with payment handled on-site via QR code using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a credit card, and zoo members get free parking by registering their plate on arrival.
