Massey Air Museum

Massey Air Museum is a small aviation museum at Betterton's airfield where kids can walk through hangars and climb inside real aircraft. A self-guided tour sheet from the lobby leads visitors past a DC-3 (open for boarding when weather allows) and an An-2 biplane that visitors can open and step into, plus outdoor displays with facts about the planes on show. Admission to the museum and hangars is free, though donations are welcome. Throughout the year the museum hosts fly-in events, such as the Chili Fest Fly-In and Antique Fly-In, where dozens of vintage and unusual planes land on the grass strip for families to see up close, along with an Open Hangar Party and a car show in the fall.
