About this placeMarch Field Air Museum is an aviation museum on March Air Reserve Base displaying 114 aircraft and more than 30,000 artifacts spanning over a century of flight history. Kids can walk beneath massive planes like the SR-71 Blackbird, B-52 Stratofortress, B-29A Superfortress and B-17G, and explore Fire Base Romeo Charlie, a half-acre recreation of a Vietnam-era outpost complete with period helicopters, bunkers and a flight control tower. Other highlights include the Zizzo Radio Room, featuring more than 100 vintage radios and a Morse code practice station, and 29 climate-controlled display cases covering military aviation from World War I through Afghanistan. New exhibits are added regularly, including an observation deck overlooking the SR-71 and a Curtiss Jenny replica, so repeat visits offer something different each time.
A membership to March Field Air Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
