Maine's First Ship is a museum in Bath, Maine, built around a working reconstruction of a wooden ship from 1607. Families can visit exhibits about early regional history and traditional shipbuilding techniques, and the museum offers sailing trips on the reconstructed vessel along the Kennebec River. The ship and its story explore the connections between the original Popham Colony settlement and the area today, with much of the work done by volunteers.
A membership to Maine’s First Ship carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
