Little Diggers is an indoor playspace built around a giant sandbox designed for children 7 and under, located next to Trader Joe's in Des Peres. Kids dig and build with clean, sustainable sand imported from the Bahamas, which staff aerate daily and treat with a non-toxic vinegar solution to keep it free of dust and bacteria. A no-drink, no-snack policy applies in the sandbox area, and there is a platform edge where parents can sit and dig alongside their child. Parents who prefer to watch can relax on nearby seating and grab a hot or cold nitro coffee. The space also hosts birthday parties, with a rental option that includes admission for 30 children and private use of the whole facility, and walk-ins are welcome starting at 9am.
