About this place
LaHaye Ice Center is Liberty University's rink in Lynchburg, home to the school's hockey teams but also open to public skating and lessons for the wider community. Kids can join Learn to Skate group classes that run from tots through adults, with sessions mixing 30 minutes of instruction with free skate time and games. Youth and adult hockey, open hockey sessions, and clinics are offered for all skill levels, and families can add on a parent free skate for $15 during Learn to Skate registration. Learn to Skate runs about $100 for an eight-class session including skate rental, with a family-friendly Sunday evening program priced at $100 for eight weeks or $75 for six weeks. Private lessons and group ice rentals are also available for those wanting a more personalized session.
