Kent Bowl is a long-running bowling center in Kent that has offered lanes to local families since 1958, growing from an original 24 lanes to 32. It keeps a family-friendly atmosphere and runs Jr. Leagues with instruction for beginner kids who want to learn the sport, alongside a bowling program for individuals with disabilities that has run for more than 50 years. Every Thanksgiving Day, the center offers two free games and free shoe rental to anyone who comes in, making it a low-cost outing for the whole family that day. It has been owned by the same families for decades, first the Zaboracs and now the Mitchells, and it has stayed a steady spot for casual and competitive bowling alike in the South Sound area.
