About this place
K1 Speed Traverse City is an indoor go-kart racing center where kids and adults can race all-electric karts on a twisting indoor track, with speeds reaching up to 45 mph. The facility also has a large arcade with video games, air hockey, and prize-redemption machines for racers to enjoy between heats. Attached is the Paddock Lounge, a casual restaurant and bar serving items like chicken wings, BBQ pulled pork sliders, and funnel cake, with views of the track while eating. Because the track is indoors, racing happens year-round regardless of weather, and the venue hosts birthday parties and group events with package options and a winner's podium for photos.
