About this place
Joy's Roller Rink is a family-run skating rink in Mentor-on-the-Lake, housed in a building that dates back to 1908 and has operated under several names before becoming Joy's in 2020. Kids and parents can skate together on the rink floor, either renting equipment or bringing their own skates as long as the wheels and boots are clean. Adult spectators get in free when they are accompanying a skater, and parents of new skaters are allowed to walk along the wall to help them get steady, with skate mates available to rent for $5. Outside food and drinks are not allowed on regular visits, and strollers cannot be brought onto the skating floor for safety reasons.
