Hologram Zoo Illinois

Hologram Zoo Illinois is an indoor attraction inside Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills where kids walk through 60-foot laser-light tunnels featuring dinosaurs, an African savanna, an underwater Atlantis scene, and a monster-themed corridor, all viewed through lightweight 3D glasses without VR headsets. There are no live animals or cages, since the exhibits are fully holographic, and reviewers note it works well for preschoolers through teens, with staff described as friendly and the space clean and spacious. Beyond a general walk-through tour, the venue books kids birthday parties in private rooms starting at $225 for 10 guests, school field trips, daycare outings, summer camp and youth group visits, and corporate or senior group events. It is open Monday through Saturday 11am to 8pm and Sunday 11am to 6pm, with bookings handled online through Peekpro.
