About this place
This free hangar museum at Fairfield County Airport near Lancaster is run entirely by volunteers who restore and display former military aircraft. Kids can walk among completed restoration projects, static aircraft, military vehicles and WWII-era memorabilia while learning about aviation history. The squadron also hosts an annual USO-style Hangar Dance each October in Hangar B. Paved parking is available in front of the building, and families are encouraged to call ahead to make sure a volunteer will be on hand during a visit.
