About this placeHeritage Park Museum is a small outdoor history museum in Kremmling made up of six preserved buildings, including a former livery barn, an old ranch house, a 1915 Forest Service ranger station, a fishing cabin, and the original town jail; a historic railroad depot is also on site but currently closed for construction. Kids can walk between the buildings to see how early Grand County ranchers and settlers lived, with structures dating back to the 1880s. The museum sits near the Colorado River in Kremmling, across from Big Shooter Coffee on N. 4th Street. It is open seasonally, typically Fridays and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm through Labor Day and closed in winter, so calling ahead to confirm hours is recommended. Admission runs $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, $5 for children ages 6 to 17, and is free for kids under 5 and for museum members.
A membership to Heritage Park carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
