About this place
FUNdamentals is a play center in East Providence built around guided, purposeful play rather than pure entertainment. The team includes a special educator, an occupational therapist, and a speech and language pathologist, who design activities to build confidence, communication, emotional regulation, and social skills. The space is meant for all children, not only those who need extra support, so kids of different abilities can play and learn side by side. Parents can also pick up strategies from staff to reinforce these skills at home, and the center describes itself as a recurring weekly spot for some regular families.
