About this place

A free art museum in Seattle housed in a striking modern building on First Hill. The museum displays paintings from its founding collection of late nineteenth and early twentieth-century European and American art, alongside contemporary works. Families can see oil paintings featuring allegorical scenes, landscapes, portraits, and everyday subjects. The museum also presents exhibitions and programs focused on living artists and new ideas. Admission is free for all visitors.

If you are a member here

A membership to Frye Art Museum carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in these programs.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
