Exotic Animal Experience

Exotic Animal Experience is a privately owned 7-acre facility where children get hands-on time with tame, hand-raised animals rather than viewing them behind glass. Visitors can pet and hold species such as sloths, lemurs, kangaroos, sheep and monkeys, all raised from infancy to be comfortable around people. The facility, founded in 2010, has grown to more than 40 animals and is licensed by the USDA and Florida Fish & Wildlife. Both private and group encounters can be booked, though visits run only in the mornings and are by appointment, with Saturdays being the only available day.
