About this place

A historic property in Fort Myers where families explore the winter homes, gardens, and workspaces of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford. The 15,000 square foot museum displays items connected to both inventors' achievements and innovations. Visitors can see the restored laboratory where Edison, Ford, and Harvey Firestone conducted experiments together, and walk through landscaped botanical grounds. The estates offer a glimpse into how these figures lived and worked during their time in Florida.

If you are a member here

A membership to Edison & Ford Winter Estates carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in these programs.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
