About this placeThis is a free outdoor ice rink built and maintained each winter by a local volunteer group known as the Eagle Ice Dads, set up right in front of the Centennial Park stage. Kids and families can drop by most evenings to skate together, practice stick and puck, or warm up by a nearby fire pit. A donated gear box at the park offers skates and equipment free to borrow, though sizes and availability vary since everything is donated. Because the ice is naturally cooled rather than mechanically refrigerated, skating depends on cold weather, and the rink may close at times for maintenance, warm temperatures, or scheduled events and tournaments.
