The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center is a Chicago community institution housing more than 15,000 pieces including paintings, sculpture, print works, and historical memorabilia dedicated to celebrating Black culture and history. Families can explore special exhibitions, workshops, and lectures that highlight works by particular artists, historical events, and collections. Located in Chicago's historic Washington Park on the South Side, the museum offers innovative exhibitions and educational programs that place the African American narrative within the broader context of U.S. history.
A membership to DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
