About this place
DK Effect is a gaming bar in Dayton offering more than 100 arcade games, pinball machines, and classic board games alongside a full bar with 40 craft beers on tap and a liquor menu. Pizza slices from Gionino's and fountain drinks are available to order right at the bar, with a weekday lunch special of one slice and a drink for four dollars until 2pm Friday through Sunday. The venue hosts a weekly pinball league every Monday and offers drink specials like three dollar Fireball shots on Fridays. It is open afternoons into late evening most days, with earlier weekend hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Because the space centers on a full bar and alcohol service alongside the games, it leans more toward an adult night-out crowd than a typical kid-focused arcade.
