About this place
Detroit Zoo is a large zoo in Royal Oak with more than 2,000 animals representing over 200 species, from frogs to lions, for kids to spot on a visit. Families can explore the 7-acre Fred and Barbara Erb Discovery Trails for up-close animal encounters, and the zoo hosts seasonal family-friendly events throughout the year. Educational programs connect children and educators with the natural world, and gate admission is $27, with online tickets recommended since pricing varies by date and demand. Memberships offer unlimited daytime admission and free parking, and groups of 20 or more can get discounted rates.
If you are a member here
A membership to Detroit Zoo carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.

Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
