About this place
Austin Aqua-Dome is a tropical fish store that has been operating in Austin since the 1980s, run by a small team with decades of experience with aquatic life. Kids can walk through and see tanks full of freshwater and saltwater fish, corals, live rock, koi, and pond fish, along with turtles kept on site. On visits when weather allows, children can feed the aquatic turtles, koi, and goldfish, making it a hands-on stop rather than just a shopping trip. The store is open six days a week and also carries plants, invertebrates, and pond supplies for families who want to see a working aquarium shop up close.
