About this place
This art museum in Manchester houses a collection of more than 15,000 works, including pieces by Picasso, Matisse, Monet, O'Keeffe, and Andrew Wyeth, giving families a chance to walk through galleries spanning many eras and styles. Beyond the main building, the museum also operates two Frank Lloyd Wright-designed houses, the Zimmerman House and the Kalil House, the latter being one of only seven Usonian Automatic homes ever built and the only one open for public tours. The museum runs seasonal workshops and educational programs, including an after-school STEAM initiative for elementary students done in partnership with local schools, showing an ongoing effort to connect kids with art and creativity.
