About this place
Cohutta Cove combines an 18-hole outdoor mini golf course with a covered gem mining sluice more than 50 feet long, giving kids two different activities in one visit. At the sluice, children sift dirt bags to find over 40 kinds of raw gems, semiprecious stones, fossils and shark teeth, suitable for beginners as well as more experienced rock hounds. The mini golf course has an adventurous layout with mountain views and music playing, and is set in Blue Ridge, Georgia just off Highway 515. The venue is family owned, pet friendly, ADA accessible, and open year-round seven days a week, with staff noting they will stay open later if a family calls ahead.
