Chicago Riverwalk

Chicago Riverwalk is a 1.25-mile outdoor pathway in Chicago, IL that features public art including murals, sculptures, and banners along the Chicago River. Families can enjoy a continuous path with designated areas for activities, including a playground space between Columbus and Lake Shore Drive, seating areas surrounded by landscaping, and access to river cruises. The Riverwalk includes four distinct districts—The Confluence, The Arcade, The Civic, and the Esplanade—with recent improvements adding new lighting, restrooms, a Community Marketplace with kiosks, and expanded tree plantings.
