About this place
BumperNets is a game store and play space inside the Galleria Mall in Hoover, where kids and families can try out pinball machines, arcade classics, table tennis, pool, foosball, air hockey and shuffleboard before deciding whether to buy one to take home. It works differently from a typical arcade since almost every game on the floor is also for sale, so a visit doubles as a chance to test equipment. The shop hosts tournaments for table tennis, billiards and pinball, along with corporate events, and reviewers mention hosting birthday parties with unlimited game play followed by pizza and cake. Staff are described as friendly and helpful, and the spot draws both younger kids and older gaming enthusiasts.
