About this place
Alpine Hills Adventure Park is a 5-acre snow park in Rockford with separate tubing and terrain park sections built to suit riders of different skill levels. Outside of snow season, the same grounds offer public trails for mountain biking, hiking, and running, giving families an easy nature outing close to the city. The park also hosts the Rockford Park District's Nature Quest camp for kids. Snowboard clinics are available for beginners and more advanced riders, with all equipment provided; rental gear is recommended for ages 8 and up, though younger kids can join if they have their own boots, board, bindings, and helmet.
