The Alaska Aviation Museum in Anchorage is a museum dedicated to Alaska's aviation history, featuring aircraft from all eras spanning from 1928 to 1981. Families and children can take docent-guided museum tours that cover Alaska's history through aircraft, appropriate for all grade levels, or enjoy self-guided experiences where students and teachers can explore together. The museum opened to the public in 1988 and continues to collect historic aircraft from throughout Alaska's aviation past.
