Adventure Science Center

Adventure Science Center sits on Fort Negley Blvd in Nashville, and the hands-on exhibits are built to be touched, not just watched. The Sudekum Planetarium runs its own shows separate from general admission, and the center also runs camps, preschool activities, and birthday events if you're planning ahead rather than dropping in. Pricing is straightforward: adult admission (13+) is $22, youth (ages 2 to 12) is $18, and kids under 2 get in free. That covers the exhibit galleries but not the planetarium or Max Flight, which are $10 and ticketed separately, and there's a $13 laser show option in the planetarium too. If you're going to be regulars, the memberships are worth doing the math on: an Individual Membership is $65 for one named adult, and a Household Membership at $170 covers two named adults and every child in the house. There's also a Curiosity Membership at $45 for families on SNAP, WIC, or TANF, covering two named adults and all household children. Hours vary by day. The center is open 9am to 5pm on Sunday and Saturday, 9am to 3pm Monday, Thursday, and Friday, and closed Tuesday and Wednesday, so check before you drive over on a weekday.
