A museum spread across 121 acres in the Adirondacks, with over 20 buildings housing exhibits about the region's history alongside collections of objects and artworks. Families explore indoor galleries and outdoor spaces, with many exhibits designed for hands-on engagement. Children can participate in crafts, building activities, and creative projects. The site includes accessible walking paths suitable for various abilities, a cafe, and enough to occupy a full day or more. Visits are spread across different buildings, so families can move between sheltered indoor spaces and outdoor areas depending on weather.
A membership to Adirondack Experience carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
