Wings Over the Rockies Exploration of Flight

Exploration of Flight is the Wings Over the Rockies museum campus located at Centennial Airport, spread across 15 acres next to one of the busiest general aviation airfields in the country. Kids can walk right up to real aircraft on display, including a MiG-23 fighter jet, an F-14 Tomcat, a Douglas B-18 Bolo bomber, and even a Star Wars X-Wing Starfighter replica. Families can try a professional flight simulator to get a feel for actually piloting a plane, and the site runs aviation-themed events and educational programs for young visitors. The location is open for visitors Friday through Monday, so it is worth checking the calendar before planning a trip.
