About this place
Acord Ice Center is a public ice rink run by Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation, offering public skating sessions along with figure skating and hockey programs. Kids and families can rent skates, which are included in the price during off-peak hours (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.), though rentals cost extra during peak times on weekday evenings after 4 p.m. and all day on weekends. Hours shift based on scheduled programming and rink rentals, so it's a good idea to call ahead or check with the front desk before heading over. Groups looking for a discounted rate need to register at least a week in advance.
