Water World is an outdoor water park in Dothan built around a large wave pool and several thrill slides. The Rip Tide Wave Pool holds 450,000 gallons and produces 3-foot waves every 10 minutes, with a carpeted beach area for lounging, and it welcomes swimmers of all ages though non-swimmers should stay within arm's reach of an adult and lifejackets are recommended. Bigger kids and teens can try the Storm Bowl and the Twister Slides trio, both requiring riders to be at least 48 inches tall, or the Great White Plunge, a steep 4-story tube slide open to riders 42 inches and taller. For younger children, Kids Cove offers tippy buckets, water cannons, and an enclosed slide with no age or height restrictions.
