Waco Surf is a large surf park and resort on 450 acres outside Waco, built around a wave pool with surf breaks for every skill level plus a waterpark, lazy river, and beach area. Kids ages 5 and up can take small-group or private surf lessons, starting on the gentle Coaster wave and progressing through waves like the Runner, the Peak, and an air wave as their skills improve. Younger visitors can cool off on the Wedge waterslide, a multi-level slide, a kids' slide area, and the lazy river without needing surf experience. Families can stay overnight in on-site hotel rooms, private houses, or RV hookups, and overnight guests get priority booking for surf sessions, with shared fire pits and picnic tables also available on the property.
