Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
A botanical garden in central Washington, DC, with indoor and outdoor plant collections ranging from desert plants and cacti to orchids, roses, and carnivorous species. Families can walk through the Conservatory to see tropical forests and native plants from across the United States. The garden currently features an exhibit called "Fierce Flora" about how plants defend themselves through unusual adaptations. The garden opens late until 8 pm on select summer evenings with live music and food available. School groups can book field trips and find activity resources on site.
A membership to United States Botanic Garden carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
