The Trailhead Children’s Museum

The Trailhead Children's Museum in Crested Butte is a hands-on play space built around a series of themed exhibits. Kids can create art with open-ended materials at the Art Bar, engage in pretend play and a mud kitchen in the nature-inspired Nature's Playhouse, and build with materials like Rigamajig in the Construction Co-op to practice motor and problem-solving skills. The STEM Lab lets children experiment with a wind tunnel, a magnet wall, and an engineering display, while the Glow Theater offers a dark room for exploring light and color and even staging small performances.
