Free or discounted entry for members of AHS Garden Network.
The Scott Arboretum & Gardens sits on the Swarthmore College campus and grows trees, shrubs, and seasonal plantings across its grounds. Families can walk the gardens year-round to see what is blooming, and the arboretum runs tours and workshops for people learning about gardening or looking for ideas to take home. Temporary exhibitions, like displays of Japanese flower arrangement, come through regularly. Those wanting deeper involvement can join as Scott Associates to attend horticultural lectures and access the library of over 1,300 gardening books.
A membership to The Scott Arboretum & Gardens carries reciprocal admission, so the same card is worth free or discounted entry at other places in this program.
Reciprocal programs are built for travel and most exclude places close to the one where you hold your membership, so this is worth the most when you are away from home. How reciprocal memberships work
