About this place
The Rollercade is a longtime roller skating rink in San Antonio that has been operating since 1958, offering public skate sessions, birthday parties, and glow events for families. Kids and parents can skate together during Family Skate sessions on a maple floor, with skate rentals available and beginner-friendly activities built into open sessions. Weekly themed sessions include a Tuesday bargain day ($5 entry, $4 rentals, discounted hot dogs), Thursday Heroes Day discounts for military, first responders, teachers and healthcare workers, and a Sunday Family Day where one parent gets free admission. General open skate entry runs $11 with $4 rentals, and the rink also offers party rooms, group rates, a pro shop, and skill-development or coaching sessions for kids wanting to improve. Wednesday nights are reserved for adults only (18+).
